2022

  • Jarvis and Friends, Volume 4The Northup Sessions is the fourth release in my series, which has its first entry in 2018. This volume was recorded at the Northup Drums Museum in Oneonta, New York on April 10 & 11, 2021.  The highly acclaimed New Jersey Percussion Ensemble, directed by Peter Jarvis, has been recording and performing since 1968 and continues its proliferation of percussion music with this release.  All the composition are by Peter Jarvis except for The Bells of Oneonta, which is by Daniel Iucci.  Jesse Gerbasi performs all the snare drum solos; Timothy Northup joins the ensemble as a guest performing on three tracks. Buddy’s Kit recorded by Peter Jarvis was recorded using Buddy Rich’s drum set.  This volume was released on August 19, 2022.

2020

  • Dragonfly – Peter Jarvis and William Schimmel a collection of duos:  Peter Jarvis – Composers, Percussion, William Schimmel – Composers, Accordion, and vocals. Released on Composers Concordance Records: COMCON0060 and distributed by NAXOS.  Official release date: September 8, 2020.
  • Jarvis and Friends, Volume 3 – Is a collection of solos and duos composed and performed by Peter Jarvis and some of his friends.  The compositions were all composed between 1985 and 2019, with most being 2017 and later.  This 3rd volume in the series offers a vide range of musical styles.

  • Jarvis and Friends, Volume 1  A collection of duos with: John Clark (horn), Franz Hackl (trumpets), William Schimmel (horn and Glen Velez (frame drums.) Released on Composers Concordance Records: COMCON0046 and distributed by NAXOS.  Official release date: July 20, 2018.
  • New Jersey Percussion Ensemble and Friends at 50, Volume 1  A volume of 8 concertos, 4 each by Peter Jarvis and Payton MacDonald.  Soloists are; John Clark (horn), John Ferrari (vibraphone), Payton MacDonald (vibraphone), William Schimmel (accordion) and Glen Velez (frame drums.) The New Jersey Percussion Ensemble conducted by Peter Jarvis, Payton MacDonald and John Ferrari. Released on Composers Concordance Records: COMCON0045 and distributed by NAXOS.   Official release date: July 6, 2018.
