Liner Notes on NAXOS:
I began collaborating with Ron, on this CD, around the year 2003. It was not long after then that Ron tragically passed and work on the project came to an abrupt halt.
Our intention was to produce a CD of music of his and mine. The idea was for me to per form his pieces (most of them composed for me) and my friends from the New Jersey Percussion Ensemble and the William Paterson University music community would per form my pieces. And, the two ensemble pieces would be per formed by the New Jersey Percussion Ensemble, both of which Ron composed for that group. Many thanks to all of the exceptional musicians who performed on this CD, WPU, Dr. Diane Falk-Romaine and David Kerzner for their support on this project. – Peter Jarvis
